Entrada’s dedicated Trade & Compliance handles everything for us end-to-end, as far as import/export, Customs, getting raw materials in from Asia and finished product out to US consumers. We don’t have to invest time and resources on that, which give us more time to focus on strategic priorities and quality production.
Entrada makes it easy for a mid-size manufacturer like Lumitex to enter Mexico. They take care of the local details – permits, paperwork, logistics, personnel, etc. – leaving us to focus on what we do well: innovate and produce.
In automotive, it's a very short time to market, It's very important that the lines keep running, because it costs a lot if you would have the line stopped. You see a higher emphasis on this than ten years ago. We work side by side with Entrada’s EH&S department to accomplish this
We knew that as a small manufacturer you have to add more value than your competitor to survive. “That said, we also knew that, as a small company, this had to work. We were making another big investment [in Mexico] and couldn’t afford to take big risks.” Entrada’s long tenure in the Fresnillo community was a big advantage in staffing the new seat manufacturing operation.
Once again, Entrada Group's expertise came into play. Entrada worked hand in hand with PSS to develop a local invoicing program that met (our Mexican clients) approval and enabled PSS to win the business.
